The scientists awarded with gold medals or prizes gain right to mention in titles of their articles "Was awarded with gold medal ( prize ) of Russian Academy of Science named in honour of {name} in {year}".
The RAS Presidium decisions on awarding with gold medals and prizes and an abstract of publications awarded are published in "The Herald of the Russian Academy of Sciences", "Izvestiya of the RAS" of proper series and newspaper "Poisk". The portraits of the scientists awarded with gold medals or prizes are published in "The Herald of the Russian Academy of Sciences".
The gold medals are handed over at RAS General Meeting. The prizes diplomas are handed over at RAS Department General Meeting.
